EL INVERNADERO DE MI BISABUELO (2021)

A series of screen prints depicting an imagined version of my great-grandfather's greenhouse, which at one time was the largest collection of cacti and succulents in Britain. I used his book "The Complete Handbook of Cacti and Succulents" to generate my own imagery based on photographs he took and traced chapter titles, creating an ambiguous narrative as part of the work.
This work explores family histories and constructed memories through creation of imaginary spaces.
